Reach for the Stars Celebrates at Space Camp

Reach for the Stars Celebrates at Space Camp
Three national winners of this year's 6th annual Reach for the Stars – National Rocket Competition will celebrate at Space Camp located in "Rocket City", Huntsville, Alabama.

Winners will receive their trophy at the U.S. Space and Rocket Center and launch their rockets in celebration from Homer Hickam Field – dedicated to the author of Rocket Boys which was made into the movie October Sky.

Speaking of inspirational movies, have you seen the Hallmark Hall of Fame film, A Smile as Big as the Moon? It's the story of a high school football coach and special-education teacher who worked to achieve an impossible dream — to take a class of special-education students to Space Camp. Actually filmed at Space Camp in Huntsville, Alabama, the movie provides great inspiration for competitors to do well in the Reach for the Stars – National Rocket Competition. What a great place to launch rockets and receive trophies!

The celebration at Space Camp is on October, 27, 2012.
